Taking CSK, the defending champions had a strong start to IPL 2024 as they first Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 6 wickets in the opening match of the season at Chepauk on 22nd March, and then thrashed Gujarat Titans again by 63 runs in their second match at their home ground.
