Sawai Mansingh Stadium IPL Records: The champions of the inaugural season in 2008, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be aiming to win their second IPL title after 16 years in IPL 2024. The 17th edition of the cash-rich league is scheduled to kickstart on 22nd March with a match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M.A Chidambaram in Chennai. Talking about RR, they will begin their IPL 2024 campaign in their home ground at the Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Stadium in Jaipur on 24th March.
With a capacity of 35,000 spectators, the Sawai Man Singh is one of the venues that will host IPL 2024 matches. It is the home ground of Rajasthan Royals and will host their five home matches in the upcoming season, as two of RR matches are scheduled to be played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
