Sawai Mansingh Stadium IPL Records: The champions of the inaugural season in 2008, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will be aiming to win their second IPL title after 16 years in IPL 2024. Talking about RR, they will begin their IPL 2024 campaign in their home ground at the Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Stadium in Jaipur on 24th March.
With a capacity of 35,000 spectators, the Sawai Man Singh is one of the venues that will host IPL 2024 matches. It is the home ground of Rajasthan Royals and will host their five home matches in the upcoming season, as two of RR matches are scheduled to be played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
The pitch of the SMS stadium is known to be more bowler friendly and is favorable for both spinner and fast bowler. The ball usually becomes slow after the bounce and becomes difficult for the batter to time the ball well. Let’s have a look at IPL stats and records at Sawai Man Singh.
