CSK of the IPL is owned by India Cements Limited through their holding company, Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited. The team was originally sold to India Cement in 2008 but ownership was then transferred to Chennai Super Kings Cricket in December 2014.

Kasinath Vishwanathan has been the CEO of the Chennai Super Kings since the time of its inception. He has a background in cricket that includes both junior and senior levels in district leagues. He moved to Madras (now Chennai) in 1968 for further studies at Vekhananda College, continued to play the cricket sport.
However, after graduation, Vishwanathan joined the accounts department of the India Cements, eventually moving away from playing league cricket in 1986 to focus on work. His journey with the CSK began when N.Shrinivasan the chief director of the india cements, appointed him to manage the cricketing affairs of the CSK franchise.

Stephen Paul Fleming is a New Zealand coach and former international cricketer, born on April 1, 1973. He is currently the head coach of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings in the 2024 IPL season.
He was appointed as the head coach of the team in 2009 after he retired from international cricket. Under his coach, CSK won the 2010 Champions League. Fleming coached CSK to its second consecutive IPL title in 2011 and its second Champions League Twenty20 title in 2014.

Rajiv Kumar is a former first-class cricketer who played for Bihar and Jharkhand, He currently works as a fielding coach for the Chennai Super Kings. Rajiv’s career spanned from the mid-1990s to 2010. Kumar had captained former captain Mahendra Sigh Dhoni in first-class cricket.
During his playing career, Kumar played 84 first-class matches, scoring 5,077 runs with the highest score of 164. On the other hand, in T20s, he scored 175 runs with a strike rate of 110.06.
