There were anticipations during the IPL 2023 that it might be the last season of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni. During the post-match presentation after almost every game, Dhoni was asked the same question whether he would be seen in CSK Yellow again in IPL 2024, but he didn’t give any exact answer and left the fans puzzled throughout the season.
However, when CSK finally won their fifth IPL title in the end, Dhoni again asked the same question to which he replied that he could come to play one more season in 2024 if he remains fit to play. His statement elevated the fans as they are hoping to see Dhoni take on the field for one more time in the upcoming season of IPL. However, there is no official statement regarding Dhoni’s availability in IPL 2024 by him or the CSK management till now.
