Australia captain Pat Cummins is all set to feature in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2024, after missing out on the previous edition in 2023. However, Pat Cummins had a memorable year as the skipper of Australia in 2023 as he first led the team to the World Test Championship title in June. later in the year, Australia went on to win their sixth ODI World Cup title after defeating the hosts India in the final.

Pat Cummins made his IPL debut for KKR in IPL 2014 after he bought by the franchise for INR 1 crore in the auction. After two years with KKR, Cummins didn’t get featured in IPL 2016 and was sold to Delhi Capitals (formerly known as Delhi Daredevils) at the price of INR 4.5 crore ahead of IPL 2017. In 2018, the Australian fast-bowler was bought by Mumbai Indians for INR 5.4 crore but was ruled out of the entire season due to an injury.
