Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) are set to take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in match number 48 of IPL 2024 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee (BRSABV) Ekana Cricket Stadium on 30th April. Both teams are coming after losing their last matches and will be looking to get back on the winning track in the upcoming game. After back-to-back wins against Chennai Super Kings, LSG couldn’t continue their winning run against the table toppers Rajasthan Royals (RR) as they failed to defend 196 runs against them at Ekana Cricket Stadium.
On the other hand, MI also suffered a one-sided defeat against RR by 9 wickets in Jaipur, followed by a 10-run defeat against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium while chasing a target of 258 runs. Now, it is turning out to be a do-or-die situation for the five-time IPL champions where they have to win every game from here to finish with 16 points at the points table. Meanwhile, LSG, who are currently in the fifth position, will be looking to get back on the winning track against LSG and make their chances stronger to qualify for the playoffs.

Lucknow Supergiants have a strong batting lineup with the skipper KL Rahul leading from the front being the top run getter for the side this year amassing 378 runs from nine matches with a strike rate of 144.27.
