MA Chidambaram Stadium Pitch Report – IPL 2024
The pitch of the Chepauk Stadium is known to be on the slower side which has assisted spinners and slow bowlers till now and it seems that it will be the same for the season. The pitch at the MA Chidambaram Stadium is not a high-scoring one like the other venues of India.
It seems like the pitch can be beneficial for the first few matches but eventually, it is hard to score good runs on the pitch thus many teams like to bat first on the pitch and then defend their score with tight fielding.
