The most awaited 15-member Indian squad is finally out for the upcoming 2024 T20I World Cup that will be held in West Indies and the United States starting on 2nd June. As expected, Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in the upcoming tournament with Hardik Pandya being appointed as vice-captain. Along with this, all the rumors regarding Virat Kohli’s place in the T20I are finally clear as the star batter has been included in the 15-member squad for the mega event, while the number T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav is also set to travel to USA.

Wicket keeper batter Rishabh Pant is back in the Indian squad after almost one and a half year, and is the second wicket keeping option in the T20I World Cup along with Sanju Samson. All-rounder Shivam Dube has also found his place in the main Indian 15 for the upcoming mega event, while Yashasvi Jaiswal is set to make his T20I World Cup debut. India’s leading wicket-taker in T20Is Yuzvendra Chahal has also been included in the Indian squad for the upcoming tournament, along with his spin counterpart Kuldeep Yadav, while spin all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel will also travel with the team. Missing out on the previous edition due to injury, Jasprit Bumrah will now travel as the primary fast bowler for India in the T20I World Cup along with Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj.
Along with this, Rinku Singh and Shubman Gill have not been included in the main-Indian squad for the World Cup, but will travel with the team as reserve players along with Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan.
