1. Mohammed Shami
Mohammed Shami is one of the fastest bowlers in India. In the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023.
Shammi has only played three matches in the World Cup and took 14 wickets. Shami is in the rank sixth on ICC’s most wickets taker list.
In his prime time, he delivers the bowl at the 153.3 km/h speed. Mohammed Shami is also one of those few bowlers who took 5 or 4 wickets haul in a match. In this ICC World Cup Shami took his first fifer against New Zealand and the second time he took 5 wickets against Sri Lanka. Shami is the only one who took five wickets two times in the ICC World Cup tournament in 2023.
2. Jasprit Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah is the second-fastest bowler in the Indian cricket team right now. In the World Cup Jasprit is at the 5th rank for most wicket take list. Bumrah took 15 wickets in the seven matches.
Mostly Jasprit’s pace speed is around 153 km/h but in 2018 he clocked 153.26 km/h speed during the match against Australia.
Jasprit Bumrah has also recorded history with a wicket on the first ball of the innings and handed Sri Lanka’s opener Pathum Nissanka a golden duck.
3. Umran Malik
23-year-old Umran Malik is the fastest bowler in the Indian cricket team. Since Umran’s 2021 IPL debut with Sunrisers Hyderabad, everyone has an eye on the pacer who throws the ball at 156 km/h speed. However, Umran Malik’s first International debut was in June 2022 against Ireland. Last Umran Malik’s fastest delivery in international cricket is 156 km/hr, which came against Sri Lanka in January 2023. His fastest ball in IPL is at 157 km/hr, which came against Delhi Capitals in 2022.
