In the IPL 2024 league match, Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders on 23rd March at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.
Last year, in the 2023 IPL season Sunrisers Hyderabad ended at the bottom of the IPL League 2023 table, winning just 4 out of 14 IPL matches. 2016 IPL Champion Sunrisers Hyderabad is still looking for a comeback in the IPL Tournament. Ahead of IPL’s 17th season of IPL 20124, SRH announced Pat Cummins as the new captain of the Risers squad.

1. 96/10 vs MI in IPL 2019
In the IPL 2019, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored their lowest totals against Mumbai Indians at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Batting first Mumbai Indians gave a target of 136 for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Unfortunately, Sunrisers Hyderabad failed to achieve this minimal target and all out on 96 runs in 17.4 overs. The MI scored a victory over Hyderabad, winning the match by 40 runs. MI bowler Alzarri Joseph took the Player of the Match for his amazing 6/12 wickets haul of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
2. 113/10 vs MI in IPL 2015
The second lowest of Sunrisers Hyderabad is again for the Mumbai Indians at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. In the IPL 2015 season, SRH batted first and couldn’t score more than 113 runs in 20 overs. The target was easily achieved by the MI, who scored 114 runs in 13.5 overs. MI won by 9 wickets and defeated the SRH. Mitchell McClenaghan was awarded Player of the Match for his 3/16 wicket haul against SRH.
3. 114/10 vs PBKS in IPL 2020
The third-lowest total of Sunrisers Hyderabad is against the Punjab Kings (formerly known as Kings XI Punjab) in the IPL 2020. Batted first Punjab Kings gave a target of 126 runs. However, SRH batters couldn’t stand the Punjab’s bowlers, and the whole team was sent back to the pavilion scoring only 114 runs. PBKS easily defeated SRH and won by 12 runs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
4. 115/8 vs KKR in IPL 2021
The fourth-lowest total of SRH was recorded against the KKR at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. In IPL 2021, Hyderabad batted first scoring 115 runs for just 8 wickets. The target was achieved easily by the Kolkata Knight Riders who scored 119 runs for 4 wicket falls. The KKR won by 6 wickets and defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
5. 116/10 vs DC in IPL 2019
The next lowest total of Sunrisers Hyderabad is against the Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2019 season. Batting first DC lost 7 wickets and set a target of 155 runs for the SRH. However, SRH could not chase the target and scored only 116 runs. The Delhi Capitals won by 39 runs. Delhi Capitals bowler Keemo Paul clinched the Player Of The Match award for his impressive 3/17 wicket haul and 2 catches.
6. 118/8 vs Supergiants in IPL 2016
In IPL 2016, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored their lowest against Rising Pune Supergiants at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad played the first innings and scored 118 runs for 8 wickets. The RPH scored 94/3 and secured a 34-run win via the Duckworth-Lewis method. Player of the Match Ashok Dinda was awarded for his 3/23 wickets.
7. 118/10 vs MI in IPL 2018
In the IPL 2018 season, Sunrisers Hyderabad gave a target of 118 runs to the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This time Mumbai Indians failed to achieve the target and the whole team was sent back to the pavilion at just 87 runs. The SRH defeated the MI and won the match by 31 runs.
8. 119/8 vs PWI in IPL 2013
In the IPL 2013, the Sunrisers Hyderabad recorded scored 119/8 and gave 120 runs target to the Pune Warriors. The PWI batters only scored 108 runs and failed to achieve the target. The SRH crushed the Pune Warriors team and won the match by 11 runs at Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium in Pune.
9. 120/7 vs PBKS in IPL 2021
The 9th lowest Sunrisers Hyderabad total is against the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2021 season. Punjab Kings batted first and gave a target of 126 runs. The SRH couldn’t achieve the target and all out at just 120 runs. The PBKS won the match by 5 runs and defeated the SRH at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
