 Australia T20 World Cup 2024

Australia reveals their 15-men squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 missing many big names. Mitchell Marsh got promoted from interim captain to full-time T20 captain of the Australian cricket team. Marsh will lead the squad ahead of the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup Cup. 

The next month ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, the biggest event of the year will start from 1st June to 29th June. For the first time in 17 years, the T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States and West Indies. One more surprising element is that 20 teams are participating in the T20 World Cup 2024. All teams are divided into 4 groups A, B, C, and D with 5 teams in each.  

The 2021 Champion Australia is in Group B and will open its 2024 T20 World Cup campaign against Oman on 6th June at Kensington Oval Stadium. This year Australia adds new flavors to the team while missing some major spices like Steve Smith, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Jason Behrendorff, and Matt Short.  

Where on the other side they recalled Ashton Agar made his return after several injury setbacks. With the leading Mitchell Marsh Australian squad powered by Marcus Stoinis, Tim David, Cameron Green, and Glenn Maxwell.
