South Africa T20 World Cup 2024 Squad

The protease announced their best 15 players for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Under the captaincy of the Skipper Aiden Markram, the South Africa T20WC squad will fight for the trophy on the world stage.  

The United States and the West Indies co-host the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for the first time in cricket history.  The 9th edition of the 2024 T20 World Cup is scheduled for 1st June and will last until 29th June. 

This year 20 teams will participate to clinch the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. All these 20 teams are grouped in four with each containing five teams. The selection of the 20 teams is based on two hosts, the top eight teams from the 2022 edition, the next two teams in the ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings, and eight teams determined by regional qualifiers. 

South Africa is placed in Group D and locks horns first with Sri Lanka on June 3rd at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. Proteas has a strong batting line-up including Skipper Markram, De Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, and Tristan Stubbs.  

Speaking of their bowling side, Kagiso Rabada, Anriche Nortje, Marco Jansen, and Gerald Coetzee are the pacers for the ICC T20WC 2024. Where Bjorn Fortuin, Keshav Maharaj, and Tabraiz Shamsi are in the spinners.
