DC- X Factors
The biggest positive for DC this year is the form of the skipper Rishabh Pant a year after surviving a fatal car accident. The wicket-keeper batter has now jumped to the third spot in the list of top run getters of the season amassing 342 runs from nine matches with a strike rate of 161.32. In the last match against GT in Delhi, Pant smashed 88 runs off just 43 balls, out of which he smashed 31 runs in the final over itself with four sixes and a one four. Along with him, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Tristan Stubbs have also impressed with their power-hitting abilities this season, while Axar Patel also proved to be a pivotal batter as he scored 66 runs off 43 balls after getting promoted to number 3. The bowling line up of DC hasn’t been effective in the last two matches, but spinners like Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav have the ability to take big wickets at crucial moments.
MI- X Factors
For MI, their top three batters including Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav haven’t been able to score consistently this year.
