BCCI Contract List 2024: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally announced the annual retainership for the most awaited 2024 Central Contract. As speculated, the Board has terminated the central contracts of Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan as they have not been considered in the round of recommendations. Apart from that, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rinku are also set to receive their maiden BCCI contracts as both have been included in the Grade C Category. Along with them, Mukesh Kumar, Shivam Dube, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Jitesh Sharma, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan and Rajat Patidar are also recommended for the annual BCCI contract list.
Players like Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj and KL Rahul have got the benefits of their good performances in 2023 as they promoted from Category B to Category A. Additionally, Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan, who recently made their India debuts are also in consideration and will be included in the Grade C Category if they take part in the upcoming Test Match between India and England in Dharamshala starting on 7th March.
How much salary do Indian cricketers get from the BCCI?
Talking about the salary of Indian cricketers, both Men and Women have been paid the same amount by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) since November 2022. The Indian cricketers get paid for every match they play (whether in the playing or not) and the amount varies in different formats.
An Indian cricketer has a fixed match fee of ₹15 Lakhs for a Test Match, ₹6 Lakhs for the ODI, and ₹3 Lakhs for a T20I match. However, BCCI also releases annual contracts for the players who appear regularly in the Indian jersey in different formats. In a central contract, the players are divided into four grades – A+, A, B, and C with each Grade having a different payment structure.
The A+ category players get an annual salary of ₹7 crores, while the players in A, B and C grades earn ₹5 crores, ₹3 crores, and ₹1 crore respectively. Let’s have a look at which Indian cricketer falls in which grade in the annual contract by the BCCI in 2024.

Ravindra Jadeja: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been an asset for India throughout the years with both bat and ball, earning him the A+ category in the 2023-24 Central Contract.
