Shardul gave one-after-one amazing performances in domestic cricket including the 2016 Ranji trophy 8 wicket haul which earned him his first International test debut against West Indies. 

Indian team selectors may delayed recognizing Shardul’s true potential but Panjab Kings bought him at his base price of INR 20 Lakhs. And that’s how Shardul made his first IPL debut against Delhi Capitals in 2015.
