After taking a break from cricket at the age of 14 due to financial issues, Shivam made his debut in cricket in T20 format in 2015-2016 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match between Mumbai and Baroda where he managed to contribute significantly from both bat and ball. 

The turning point of Shivam Dube’s life was when he scored his first-class century on November 2, 2018 in Mumbai’s match against Railways in Ranji Trophy and was later picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 2010 IPL.

Later, Dube was purchased by the Rajasthan Royals in 2021. He was then purchased by the Chennai Super Kings for 2022 IPL. 

Shivam Dude made his tremendous T20I debut against Bangladesh on 3 November, 2019. 

He made his remarkable ODI debut against West Indies on 15 December, 2019.
