The IPL 2024 is set to kickstart on 22nd March with a between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Chennai, while the two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders are set to begin their campaign at their home ground with a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 23rd March. Now both KKR and SRH will be looking to move on from there unforgettable season in IPL 2023. KKR missed the services of their skipper Shreyas Iyer last year. However, in his absence Nitish Rana took charge of the team, and under his captaincy, KKR won seven out of 14 league matches and finished in 7th position at the points table.
