The Australian cricket board, Cricket Australia, has unveiled the team’s New Jersey for the upcoming marquee event, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 which is set to kickoff from June in the United States of America and the West Indies.
In an astonishing move, Cricket Australia decided to ditch the Classic gold and black color scheme and introduced the primary green design. The new green design based jersey will mark the first for the Australian cricket team to doll up in the short format, T20 World Cup 2024.

The Australian cricket team had a below par performance in the previous edition of the tournament as they failed to qualify for the semifinals.
Cricket Australia Names Strong Squad for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024
Eyeing an impactful comeback in the short format world tournament, Australia would be keen to grace their trophy cabinet with another T20 World Cup Trophy following their dominance in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 and the World Test Champion 2021-23.
Australia has been grouped in Pool B along with budding cricket playing nations Oman, Namibia, Scotland and the defending champions of the tournament, England. The team will kick off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Oman on 5th June at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, West Indies.
The team has made some shocking exclusions in their preliminary T20 World Cup 2024 squad. Cricket Australia has dropped their star top order batsman Steven Smith along with their destructive in-form batter Jake Fraser McGurk who has taken the ongoing 17th season of Indian Premier League by storm with his remarkable performances for Delhi Capitals.
The Mitchell Marsh led side will be expecting a strong start from their attacking openers David Warner and Travis Head, followed by the striking knocks by Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis, Cameron Green and Tim David.
Australia’s lethal pace attack will be led by their ace pacer Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc and has named Ashton Agar and Adam Zampa as their frontline spinners.
