The New Zealand team management has recently unveiled their jersey for the upcoming global event, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The keys are expected to take off for the United States of America and West Indies for the upcoming marquee tournament in the last week of May.
The Black Caps have ditched their traditional black toned jersey for the World Cup 2024 and will be seen dolling up in the new teal color jersey. The New Zealand cricket team has decided to go retro for the upcoming tournament and has released a new kit while taking inspiration from their previous ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 1999 jersey.

Eyeing their maiden ICC T20 World Cup victory, The retro jersey and wheel by the New Zealand cricket team management strongly hints at the team’s ideology and strategy of giving striking performances in the upcoming tournament.
The Kiwis gave a remarkable performance in the previous edition of the world tournament in 2022 and finished as the semi finalists after getting defeated by Pakistan in the knockout match.
New Zealand to lock horns with Afghanistan for campaign opener in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024
New Zealand has been grouped in Pool C along with fellow cricket playing nations Uganda, Papua New Guinea, Afghanistan and the hosts of the tournament, West Indies. The team will kick off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Afghanistan on 7th June at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, West Indies.
The blackcaps recently announced their 15 Man squad for the global tournament in a unique fashion with two young kids addressing the media. The New Zealand squad will be led by their veteran top order batsman Kane Williamson, who will mark his sixth ICC event for the team.
The team management had backed two amateur players Matt Henry and Rachin Ravindra who have recently made it huge in the longer formats of the sport, along with experienced players like Tim Southee and Trent Boult.
A notable addition in the New Zealand squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 was Devon Conway who previously missed the entire ongoing 17th edition of the Indian Premier League due to an injury.
