The biggest event in 2024 is all set to take place in a few weeks. It is the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which will be hosted in the USA and the Caribbean Islands. This tournament will be bigger than the previous editions, as a total of 20 teams from across the globe will be taking part in the competition. The first game is scheduled to take place on June 1.
55 matches will be played in the tournament, including the final on June 29 at Kensington Oval. The group stage will see five teams each playing in four different groups. Only two teams can qualify from each group, and they will compete in the Super 8 round. The top four teams from the Super 8 will make it to the semi-finals.

The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) also reveals the Indian kit for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The announcement was made through a video featuring Rohit, along with Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja. The new jersey has blue as its premier color, while the sleeves have a saffron print.
Unlike the previous jerseys, it has a v-shaped neck pattern that has tri-colors on it. The Dream11 logo is on the chest, while the Adidas logo is on the right top side. The BCCI’s logo is placed on the top right side, which has a star above it. This reflects India’s 2007 T20 World Cup glory. Indian players are currently playing in the ongoing IPL 2024. The players who will not be part of the playoffs will fly to the USA on May 21, while the remaining players will depart after the IPL final.
