Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are set to lock horns again in match number 58 of IPL 2024 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on 9th April. RCB are currently on a winning run with three consecutive victories and have now jumped to the seventh position in the points table with four wins from 11 matches so far. On the other hand, PBKS are coming after losing their last game against Chennai Super Kings at the same ground after two straight victories and are standing in eighth position with four wins in 11 games.
In the previous match between both teams at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB defeated PBKS by 4 wickets, with Player of the match Virat Kohli top scoring with 77 runs 49 balls, and Dinesh Karthik finishing the things off with his fiery 28 not out off 10 balls as the hosts chased the 177-run target in 19.2 overs losing 6 wickets. Virat Kohli is the leading run scorer of IPL 2024 with 542 runs in 11 matches. The RCB opener has been a constant performer for the franchise this year and now the skipper Faf du Plessis is also back in form after he smashed a fiery 64 runs off 23 balls in the last match against Gujarat Titans.
