When asked about the coming CSK vs RR clash on Sunday, Ashwin replied that they have a well-balanced team and they will try to beat the defending champions at Chepauk Stadium. Notably, this will be the first game between these two teams in the IPL 2024.
These two teams have met 28 times in the IPL. CSK has 15 wins, and RR has 13. These teams have played 8 games at Chepauk Stadium, and CSK has won six while RR has emerged victorious in two matches. However, these two teams played the last game at this venue in 2023, and RR won it by 3 runs.
