PBKS will be playing five of their seven home matches in IPL 2024 at the newly constructed Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium. Two of their home matches will be played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala. PBKS will host Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at this ground on 5th May and 9th May respectively.

Talking about the ground, HPCA stadium in Dharamsala has a capacity of 21,200 spectators and is more favorable for the fast bowlers providing decent bounce. HPCS Stadium Dharamshala IPL Stats and Records
The HPCA Stadium has hosted a total of 11 matches in the IPL with the team batting first winning six times, while the team batting second coming out victorious on five occasions. The first-ever IPL match on this ground was played between Kings XI Punjab and Deccan Chargers on 16th April, 2010. Batting first, Punjab posted a total of 174 runs for the loss of 3 wickets with Mahela Jayawardene unbeaten on 92 runs off 63 balls and the skipper Kumar Sangakkara scoring 53 runs off 37 balls. In reply, the Chargers chased the winning total in 19.1 overs losing 5 wickets, with Rohit Sharma playing a match-winning knock of unbeaten 68 runs from 38 balls.
PBKS Stats and Records at HPCA Stadium Dharamshala
Being the host team, Punjab Kings have played all the 11 matches held at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. Out of these 11 games, PBKS come out victorious on five occasions, while ended up losing six times. They last played on this ground in a match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on 19th May, 2023. Batting first, PBKS were able to post 187 for 5, after losing early wickets. Sam Curran was unbeaten on 49 runs off 31 balls, while Jitesh Sharma (44 off 28) and Shahrukh Khan (41* off 23) played quickfire knocks to guide PBKS to 180+ total. Chasing the winning total, RR lost Jos Buttler early for a duck. After that, Yashasvi Jaiswal (50 off 36) and Devdutt Padikkal (51 off 30) took the innings further with their half-centuries. After that, Shimron Hetmyer scored a quickfire 46 runs off 28 balls as RR chased the target by losing 6 wickets in 19.4 overs.
