Punjab Kings and Chennai Super Kings met once again in a gap of three days. PBKS won the last encounter between the two teams earlier this season. But they couldn’t win this game. Match No. 53 of the TATA IPL 2024 was played at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Sunday.
This season has been a high-scoring one, but this was one of those rare games where bowlers from both teams had good performances. In the end, PBKS only reached 139/9 and lost by 28 runs. With this win, CSK jumped to third place, and PBKS got knocked out of the competition.

The CSK superstar had a brilliant game and collected the most fantasy points in the game. He scored 43 runs and also took three wickets. As a result, he collected 148 points and won the Dream11 Fantasy Player of the Match award.

This was one of the few games that had only ten sixes. Prabhsimran Singh and Ravindra Jadeja hit two sixes each. But because Jadeja scored more runs, he won the Angel One Super 6s of the Match as well.
