9. Royal Challengers Bengaluru – 1 Time
Royal Challengers Bengaluru have won one game while chasing a 200+ total in the IPL. They did it against Kings Xi Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in the 7th game of the 2010 edition. PBKS made 203/3 in the first innings. Chasing the target, RCB made 204/2 in 18.5 overs to win the game. Jacques Kallis scored an unbeaten 89 off 55, and Robin Uthappa made 51 off 21 balls.
8. Delhi Capitals – 1 Time
Delhi Capitals have also chased a 200+ total once in the IPL. They did it against Gujarat Lions during the 2017 season at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Batting first, GL made a total of 208/7. In reply, Delhi got off to a good start as Sanju Samson made a 31-ball 61 and Rishabh Pant scored 97 off 43. Delhi made 214/3 in 17.3 overs to win.
7. Sunrisers Hyderabad – 1 Time
Sunrisers Hyderabad is another team that has won one game while chasing more than 200 runs. They did it against Rajasthan Royals in the 2023 edition at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. RR posted a big total of 214/2 in 20 overs. SRH had good contributions all around, and Glenn Phillips made a 7-ball 25 to take SRH to 217/5 to win the game.
6. Lucknow Super Giants – 2 Times
Lucknow Super Giants made their debut in 2022, but they have already made some big totals in the IPL. LSG has chased down 200 or more two times so far in the IPL. They did it for the first time against Chennai Super Kings. LSG chased down a 211-run target and made 211/4 to win the game. For the second time, they made 213/9 to beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in the 2023 edition.
5. Rajasthan Royals – 2 Times
Rajasthan Royals have also done it twice so far. The inaugural season winner has registered two out of the top three chases in the IPL. In 2008, they chased down 217/7 against Deccan Chargers to win the game at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Yusuf Pathan (61 off 28 and 2/20) won the MOTM award. The second time, RR had it against Punjab Kings when they made 226/4 while chasing 224-run target at Sharjah.
4. Kolkata Knight Riders – 3 Times
The two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders are one of the three teams to win multiple titles in the tournament. They always do well with the bat and have some big totals and chases in the IPL. They have chased down 200 or more totals three times in IPL history. Their highest run chase came against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Apart from that, they have also chased such totals against Gujarat Titans and Kings XI Punjab.

3. Chennai Super Kings – 3 Times
The five-time champion Chennai Super Kings are very successful, and one of the main reasons for that is their strong batting lineup. CSK has made 12 playoffs so far and played ten finals overall, which is the most in the tournament. Apart from this, they have also won the IPL title five times. They have chased and scored 200 or more a number of times in the IPL. CSK has registered three successful run chases in the IPL with 200 or more runs.

2. Mumbai Indians – 5 Times
Mumbai Indians are another team that has won the IPL title five times. They won their maiden title in 2013 and went on to win four more until 2021. All those titles came under Rohit Sharma. 1. Punjab Kings – 6 Times
Punjab Kings are one of the oldest teams in the IPL that have been part of the league since 2008. They are considered underperformers as they have only made the playoffs twice in 16 seasons. Their one and only final appearance came in 2014, but they lost the final against KKR. PBKS holds the record for most chases with 200 or more runs. They have done a total of six such chases overall.
