KL Rahul vs PBKS Stats: After losing their first to Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Sunday, Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) will now return to their home ground and will be facing Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Ekana Cricket Stadium on 30th March. LSG will look to get back on their winning ways and the fans will be hoping for the skipper KL Rahul to lead from the front in a match against PBKS.
The Indian batter has been taking charge of LSG since their IPL debut in 2022. Under Rahul’s captaincy, LSG qualified for the playoffs in their maiden season of the cash-rich league. However, in IPL 2023, he was ruled off mid-season after sustaining a hamstring injury in a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 1st May. In his absence, Krunal Pandya took over the charge as the skipper and led LSG to the playoffs for the second consecutive time.
Now, KL Rahul is back as the skipper of the franchise and was seen in good touch in the first match against RR, where he scored 58 runs off 44 balls, hitting four fours and two sixes. Now, he will be seen leading LSG against his ex-team PBKS. Rahul has been a part of PBKS from 2018 to 2021 and led the franchise in IPL 2020 and 2021.
