Powerplay is always an important phase in the limited-over format. It is the time when batters try to score as many runs as possible because of the fielding restrictions. Only two fielders are allowed in the first six overs of the T20 game, which encourages batters to go after the bowling from the very start.
A good powerplay always helps a team have a significant start in the first ten overs to set a great platform. The Indian Premier League (IPL) has also seen teams cross even 100 runs in the first ten overs and go on to score big. In this article, we will talk about the highest score achieved by a team after the first ten overs of the innings in the IPL.
