The Lucknow Super Giants’ highest successful run chases in IPL is against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2023 season. It is also 7th highest run chase in the IPL history of all time. The RCB batters Virat Kohli (61), Faf du Plessis (79), and Glenn Maxwell had great innings and gave LSG a target of 213.
But LSG batters Marcus Stoinis (65), Nicholas Pooran (62), and Ayush Badoni (30) helped LSG to pull off one of the highest run chases in the IPL history ever. The Lucknow Super Giants won by 1 wicket at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
2. LSG vs CSK IPL 2022 Match – 211
The second-highest run chase by the LSG is against the CSK in the IPL 2022 season. Lucknow Super Giants successfully chased the 211 runs by the Chennai Super Kings which is also the 8th highest total chased in IPL all time. The CSK batters Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, and Shivam Dube all did a great job and bagged a total of 210/7 runs for the LSG.
In response to that 200+ target LSG opening batters KLRahul (40) and Quinton de Kock (60) together had a great partnership. Not to forget Proteas wicketkeeper batter Evin Lewis who scored 55 runs for the eam. The Lucknow Super Giants won by 6 wickets and defeated the Chennai Super Kings at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
