5. Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan (134*) vs GL in 2016
The fifth biggest IPL stand for Kolkata was made during the 2016 season at Eden Gardens. It was the game against the Gujarat Lions, but it came in the losing cause. Batting first, KKR scored 158/4 from 4/24 in 5.5 overs. Yusuf Pathan (63* off 41) and Shakib Al Hasan (66* off 49) added 134 runs in 14.1 overs. In reply, Gujarat made 164/5 in 18 overs to win the game.
4. Manvinder Bisla and Jacques Kallis (136) vs CSK in 2012
The fourth-biggest partnership for Kolkata is probably the most important in their IPL stint ever. Because it came in the finals of the 2012 edition against CSK, which helped them win their maiden title. CSK posted a total of 190/3 in the first innings which was a winning total. But the 136-run second-wicket stand between Manvinder Bisla (89 off 48) and Jacques Kallis (69 off 45) helped KKR reach 192/5 and win their maiden title.

Gautam Gambhir is still one of the most successful captains and batters for KKR. He had many brilliant partnerships in the IPL. During 2011, he and Jacques Kallis made the third-biggest IPL stand for Kolkata against RR in Jaipur. Rajasthan made 159/4 in the 20 overs. After losing a wicket early, Gambhir (80 off 65) and Kallis (75 off 44) added an unbeaten 152 runs to take their team to victory, and KKR made 160/1 in 18.3 overs.
2. Robin Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir (158) vs RPS in 2017
Kolkata Knight Riders have multiple partnerships during a chase, which is very incredible. Their second-biggest partnership also came in a chase. It came in the 30th game of the 2017 season against Rising Pune Supergiants in Pune. RPS scored 182/5 in the first innings. Chasing the score, KKR lost Sunil Narine (16 off 11), but Gautam Gambhir (62 off 46) and Robin Uthappa (87 off 47) added 158 runs for the second wicket, and KKR scored 184/3 in 18.1 overs to win the game.

The record for the highest opening stand in a chase is held by KKR’s pair of Gautam Gambhir and Chris Lynn. It happened during the third game of the 2017 edition between Kolkata and Gujarat Lions. GL batted first and made 183/4 in the first innings. In reply, KKR didn’t lose a wicket and scored 184/0 in 14.5 overs to win the game. Gambhir scored 76 off 48, and Lynn remained unbeaten on 93 off 41 balls.
