Harpreet Singh Bhatia is an Indian Cricketer who plays for Chhattisgarh in Domestic cricket and Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was a part of the Indian team in the 2010 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand. He made his IPL debut for Kolkatat Knight Riders in a match against Mumbai Indians at Brabourne on 22nd March, 2010. He will now play for PBKS in IPL 2024.
Bhatia has played 87 matches in his T20 career so far where he scored 2433 at an average of 34.75 and a strike rate of 123.56. He finished as the leading run-scorer for Madhya Pradesh in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy 629 runs from seven matches at an average of 69.88. Bhatia was also the highest-run-getter for MP in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy 271 runs in five games. He was transferred from Madhya Pradesh to Chattisgarh ahead of the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy.

Harpreet Singh Bhatia IPL 2025 Team & Price
Harpreet Singh Bhatia joined Pune Warriors India (PWI) ahead of the IPL 2011 as the franchise acquired his services for ₹20 Lakhs in the auction. After three years, Bhatia was released by PWI ahead of IPL 2014 and it took him three years to get his next IPL contract as Royal Challengers Bangalore roped him for ₹20 Lakhs as a replacement for the injured Sarfaraz Khan in IPL 2017. He was released by RCB ahead of IPL 2018 and missed out on the tournament for six more years. In December 2022, PKBS picked him for ₹40 Lakhs for IPL 2023. Now, the top-order has been retained by the franchise ahead of IPL 2024 and will be playing his second season with PBKS.

Harpreet Singh hasn’t been able to make his name in the IPL despite being part of the league since 2010. He will be looking to capitalize on every opportunity he gets for PBKS in IPL 2024. Bhatia is likely to open the innings with the skipper Shikhar Dhawan as PBKS lack proper top-order batsmen.
