KL Rahul, the right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman from Karnataka, is one of the leading cricketers at present, and he is building promising stats in all formats of cricket. In his career to date, he has played in different tournaments, including the ICC-Under 19 Cricket World Cup, Duleep Trophy, Ranji Trophy, and other domestic and international matches. KL Rahul Total Centuries in IPL

Rahul made his debut in the IPL by playing for RCB in the 2013 IPL Season. But for the IPL 2014 season, he was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 1 crore. At present, for the IPL 2024 season, Rahul captains the newly added Lucknow Super Giants franchise. During his stint with Kings XI Punjab in 2019, he scored 132* against RCB, which was the first century in his IPL career. 

The Punjab franchise picked him for Rs 11 crore, and he proved his worth. However, later, for IPL 2022, he was picked by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 17 crore, for which he scored 103* against Mumbai Indians. Overall, KL Rahul has hit four centuries in IPL.

KL Rahul Centuries in Test

Although KL made a lousy debut in the 2014 Boxing Day Test series against Australia, he hit his maiden century in January 2015 at SCG by scoring 110. That same year, he hit another century against Sri Lanka in August by scoring 108. His century-long innings continued in 2018 and 2021 against England and South Africa. Overall, he has eight centuries in 50 test matches total, with a batting average of 34.1.

KL Rahul Total Centuries in ODI Matches

His century count in ODI began in 2016 while playing against Zimbabwe, where he scored 100 runs. However, his ODI career is full of ups and downs. In as many innings, he was sent on as opener and at rest as a middle-order batsman. His second century came against Sri Lanka, adding to the tally, and then against West Indies. In 2020-21, he hit centuries against New Zealand- 112 and 108 against England.

During the Asia Cup 2023, he scored 111 against Pakistan and then in November 2023, he scored 102 against Netherlands.

KL Rahul Total Centuries in T20Is

KL Rahul has better stats in T20I matches than ODI and Test. His best innings came in 2016 against West Indies where he scripted history by scoring 110* in 51 deliveries. His second century came in 2018 playing against England where he scored 101 in 54 deliveries. 

2016- The Year of KL Rahul Centuries

KL Rahul made his debut for India against Australia in the 2014-15 Boxing Day Test series. However, his first innings didn’t go well, but in the second test match, he scored his first century and was the opener in the game. The inning also presented his technical skills and patience even under pressure. 

2016 was an excellent year for KL Rahul, during which he hit centuries in all formats. He is the only Indian cricketer to score a debut century in an ODI, which was against Zimbabwe. That same year, he hit another century in a T20I match against West Indies. Then, during the test series in December against England, KL Rahul scored 199 in the test match.
