Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on the five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in match number 33 of IPL 2024 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on 18th April. With two wins from six matches, PBKS will now be looking for a big win against MI and get ahead in the points table.
Talking about MI, they didn’t have a great start where they lost their first three matches consecutively. However, they finally got to win their next two games against Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru respectively, but failed to continue their winning momentum against CSK as the defending champions defeated them by 20 runs at Wankhede. MI failed to chase 207 runs despite Rohit Sharma’s unbeaten 105 runs off 63 balls.
