Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will take on Lucknow Supergiants in match number 28 of IPL 2024 at Eden Gardens on 14th April. After three consecutive victories, KKR finally got their first loss of the season as Chennai Super Kings defeated them by 7 wickets at Chepauk. However, they are still in top two at the points table with three wins from four games. On the other hand, LSG will be coming after losing to Delhi Capitals for the first time at Ekana. The surface of the Eden Gardens provides support for both batters and bowlers. The pitch has been prepared using black cotton soil that helps in maintaining good bounce which becomes paradise for the batters. However as the game progresses, the pitch slows down, which is favorable for the spinners.
