Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is the one who holds the record for the most wickets in the IPL. Rajasthan Royals star bowler Yuzvendra Chahal took 205 wickets which is the most in the IPL history. Chahal only played 160 matches and 205 scalps to his name with an economy rate of 7.84.
The second most wicket-taker in the IPL is Dwayne Bravo who is only 12 wickets behind Yajuvendra Chahal. Dwayne Bravo played only 161 matches and took 183 wickets with an economy rate of 8.38.
The next bowler in the most wickets list is another Indian legspinner Piyush Chawla has 192 scalps to his name in 192 matches with an economy rate of 7.96.
The top ten most wickets in the IPL list are dominated by Indian bowlers. Dwayne Bravo (183 wickets in 161 matches) and Sri Lankan bowler Lasith Malinga (170 wickets in 122 matches) are the only two overseas bowlers in the IPL most wicket list.
