Young Wicketkeeper batter Dhruv Jurel has impressed everyone with his match-winning performance in the 4th Test between India and England in Ranchi. The right-hander, who was only playing his second Test match for India, amassed 90 runs off 149 balls in the first innings and helped India to make a comeback in the match. Dhruv Jurel is an Indian Cricketer who hails from Agra, Uttar Pradesh and plays for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He made his Test debut for India on 15th February, 2024. He is the son of the retired Army officer and the 1999 Kargil War veteran Nem Singh Jurel. Now, Jurel will be seen playing for RR in the upcoming season of the IPL in 2024. Dhruv Jurel was picked by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction for ₹20 Lakhs. However, he didn’t get to play a single match in that season but was still retained by RR for IPL 2023. Jurel finally made his IPL debut against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Guwahati on 5th April, 2023. He was impressive in his debut match scoring a quickfire 32 runs off 15 balls.
