After suffering a 35-run defeat against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad, the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will now take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match number 61 of IPL 2024 at M.A Chidambaram Stadium on 12th May. With six wins in 12 matches, CSK are currently in the top four in the points table but need to win the remaining two matches to secure their place in the playoffs. On the other hand, RR are on a verge of getting officially qualified for the with eight wins in 11 matches, but are coming after losing back-to-back matches against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals respectively.
