Team India faced Ireland in their opening game of the iCC T20 World Cup 2024. This match was played on a tough pitch in New York, but despite that, India controlled the game very well. The Indian bowlers were all over the Irish batters and didn’t allow them to score runs freely. Ireland were bowled out for just 96 runs in 16 overs. Then it was Rohit Sharma who took India to victory.
The Indian captain scored a brilliant fifty on a pitch that was misbehaving and didn’t have an even bounce to play the shots.
