The unbeaten Rajasthan Royals (RR) are set to host Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in match number 19 of IPL 2024 at Sawai Mansingh (SMS) Stadium in Jaipur on 6th April. The inaugural champions have emerged as one of the strongest sides of this season with three back-to-back wins from three matches and are currently standing at the top of the points table. RR first defeated Lucknow Supergiants and Delhi Capitals in their first two matches of the season at SMS Stadium respectively. After that, the Royals traveled to Mumbai to take on Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium. After two wins at their home ground, RR also thrashed MI at Wankhede by 6 wickets to register their third consecutive victory of the season. Now, the Men in Pink will be back at their Fortress in Jaipur to take on RCB in the upcoming match of IPL 2024.
Talking about RCB, they are struggling to get back on the winning track after two back-to-back losses at their home ground. In their first match of the season, RCB lost to Chennai Super Kings by 6 wickets at Chepauk Stadium. However, they didn’t take time to register their first win of the season as soon as they got back to their home ground, M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru. They defeated Punjab Kings by 4 wickets in their second match of the season at their home ground. However, RCB couldn’t take advantage of their home conditions for long as they ended up losing to Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Supergiants respectively at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. They are now standing in ninth position with three losses from four games. RR- X Factors
Rajasthan Royals have shown a complete team performance in the last three games and have been ruling the points table with three wins from three matches. Every player has been contributing to guiding the team to victory. One of the most impressive performances for RR is of Riyan Parag. The 22-year-old is currently one of the leading run scorers of the tournament so far with 181 runs from three matches. He will be one of the players to look out for in a match against RCB. Along with him, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who hasn’t been impressive in the last three games will be looking to get his form back and score some runs, while the skipper Sanju Samson will be anchoring the innings in the middle overs. In the bowling lineup, Trent Boult could get early breakthroughs for RR in the first six overs along with Sandeep Sharma. While the spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal are the players to look out for in a clash against RCB.
