Veteran Indian cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has the record for the most dot balls in IPL history. With 1534 dot balls Bhuvneshwar Kumar becomes the most impressive IPL bowler and is also the leading wicket-taker for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Bhuveshwar Kumar who is famous for his inswinger and can swing balls in both ways is the most successful bowler in the IPL. Bhuvi has bowled 1534 dot balls in 160 innings with an impressive average rate of 25.86 and an economy rate of 7.39.
The second place is owned by another Indian cricketer Sunil Narine who has bowled 1478 dot balls in the 162 IPL matches with an average rate of 25.79 and an economy rate of 6.73.
Third place is also owned by Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin who has bowled 1477 dot balls in the 197 IPL matches with an average rate of 28.67 and an economy rate of 7.01.
R Ashwin followed by Piyush Chawla (1272 dot balls in 181 IPL matches) and Harbhajan Singh (1268 dot balls in 163 IPL matches) are the other two top five players with the most dot balls in the IPL.
Lasith Malinga is the only overseas player in the IPL with 1155 dot balls in the 122 IPL matches with an economy rate of 7.14.
