The former RCB captain and the man who is sitting at the top of the tree for most of the batting records in the IPL, Virat Kohli, makes an entry on this list. Virat has been playing in this tournament since the start and is the only cricketer who has not changed his team. In 2008, he was picked by Royal Challengers Bengaluru and is still playing for them. Virat has played 241 matches and scored 7466 runs with seven centuries and 52 half-centuries. However, he has registered four scores in the nineties, including one 99.
4. Chris Gayle – 4 Times
Destructive opener Chris Gayle is one of the best strikers in this game. The big left-hander played in the IPL from 2009 to 2021 and played for KKR, RCB, and PBKS, respectively. In his career, he featured in 142 matches and scored 4965 runs at an average of 39.72 and a strike rate of 148.96. Gayle is currently the only player with more than 350 sixes and even holds the record for the highest IPL individual score of 175 not out. He scored six centuries and 31 half-centuries in the IPL and made four scores between 90 and 99 in his career.
3. KL Rahul – 5 Times
KL Rahul made his IPL debut in 2013 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Apart from RCB, he has also represented SRH and PBKS, and he is currently playing for LSG in the IPL. The batting star has made the most runs in the IPL since 2016, including five seasons with more than 600 runs. He has scored 4256 runs in 121 games at an average of 46.26 and a strike rate of 134.51. Rahul has registered 4 centuries and 34 half-centuries. He holds the record for the highest individual score by an Indian batter in the IPL at 132 not out. Furthermore, Rahul has five innings of nervous nineties in his IPL career.
2. Shikhar Dhawan – 5 Times
Veteran Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan is one of the most consistent batters in the IPL. He started the tournament in 2008 and is still going strong. The Southpaw is currently the second-highest run-scorer in IPL history. Dhawan has played 220 games and represented DC, MI, SRH, and PBKS so far. Overall, he has scored 6754 runs at an average and strike rate of 35.54 and 127.28, respectively, with a best of 106 not out. Dhawan has scored two hundred and 51 half-centuries. But he has also missed a century five times and scored between 90 and 99 in this tournament.

David Warner is the best overseas cricketer who has taken part in the Indian Premier League, and we are talking on the basis of his performances. He is one of the few overseas captains to lead a franchise to the IPL title. He led Sunrisers Hyderabad to the 2016 title, beating RCB in the final. As a batter, he has done pretty well. Warner has played for DC and SRH in his career. In 179 games, he has scored 6527 runs at 41.57 and a strike rate of 140. He has registered 4 centuries and 62 half-centuries. Six times, Warner remained unbeaten or got out in the nervous nineties.
