Maxwell was mimicking both Kohli’s actions at the crease and his batting. Mohammad Siraj soon followed the Australians to add more fun to it.
Kohli batted smoothly in the nets, having returned from a break, and looked good as he unleashed an array of strokes. His attention was solely on the ball, and he ignored everything that was going on behind him.

On the eve of the season opener, Du Plesis’s former opening partner, Ruturaj Gaikwad, was announced as CSK’s captain, replacing the stalwart MS Dhoni, just hours before the team arrived for the final training session before the match.
