A fan shared this video on ‘X’ showing Shreyas’ fancy footwork. The video took social media by storm. This is said to be from the set of Star Sports where they were shooting this episode of some show which is yet to be known. Fans across social media have a mixed take on this one as some of the fans are in awe of his dancing abilities, while others criticised him and asked him to focus on cricket first. As he has missed a lot of cricket in the recent past and even has been dropped from BCCI’s central contract this year, last month for not taking part in the domestic cricket.
After missing last year’s IPL due to injury Shreyas is back this season leading the franchise again. The glimpse of off-the ground activities comes after Shreyas’ KKR beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 4 runs in a nail-biting encounter on Saturday. Even though Shreyas Iyer got out on a duck, the overall team performance was brilliant from his side. Youngster Harshit Rana caught the eyes of fans with his fantastic spell of three wickets while just giving thirty three runs in four overs. The match was almost going away from them when Heinrich Klassen and Shahbaz Ahmed almost took away the game with their explosive batting. Sunrisers only needed 7 runs off 5 balls in the end with Harshit stepping up and winning the match for KKR.
Currently, Knight Riders are sitting at fourth position in the table after winning their opening game at home. KKR will play their match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Chinnaswamy on Friday. RCB won their last match beating Punjab Kings by 4 wickets and currently sitting in sixth position.
