Will Jacks is an English cricketer, who is a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has been retained by RCB for IPL 2024 and is most likely to make his debut in the cash-rich league in the upcoming season. He has already made his name in the popular cricket league such as The Hundred and the South African T20 League. Now he is still to make his mark in the IPL, and is likely to get his first match in 2024.
Will Jacks has been a prominents player in the first two editions of the SA20 T20 League with 515 runs from 17 matches with a staggering strike rate of 190.74. On the other hand, he has also maintained a 154.42 strike rate in The Hundred with 227 runs from nine games. His 108-run knock off 48 balls is the highest individual by a player in the history of the Hundred making him the first person to hit a 100 in the history of the league. Jacks is also one of the few players who have taken a six-wicket haul on their Test debut. Will Jacks IPL 2024 Team & Price
Will Jacks got his first contract in the IPL after Royal Challengers Bangalore acquired his services for ₹3.20 Crore in the IPL 2023 Auction. However, the right-hander couldn’t get to play a single game in the season as he was ruled out of the tournament because of muscle injury. Jacks is now again retained by RCB ahead of the upcoming season and is expected to make his debut in IPL 2024.
