Tanay Thyagarajan is an Indian cricketer who plays for Hyderabad in domestic cricket and has been picked by Punjab Kings (PBKS) for IPL 2024. Born in Bengaluru, Karnataka in November 1995, Thyagarajan made his List A debut for Hyderabad in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Karnataka in Delhi on 21st February. 2018.
Making his first-class debut in 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, Thyagarajan finished as the leading wicket taker for Hyderabad with 17 scalps from five games. He was also the leading wicket taker in the 2023-24 Ranji Trophy Plate League with 56 scalps from just seven matches at an average of 14.98.
