Vijay scored a brilliant 95 runs off 52 balls, with four boundaries and six maximums, and added a 159-run opening stand with Mike Hussey (63 off 45). Chinnaswamy Stadium. Saha made a 49-ball ton and scored an unbeaten 115 off 55 balls, with 10 fours and 8 sixes, helping his team reach 199/4. But PBKS couldn’t defend the title, and KKR made 200/7 in 19.3 overs to win the final and their second title.

Shane Watson has registered the highest individual score in the IPL final. He had it during the 2018 final against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede Stadium. It is also one of the highest individual scores while chasing a target in the IPL. SRH scored 178/6 in the first innings. CSK chased it down in just 18.3 overs to win the final and lift the trophy.
