HPCA is an international cricket stadium located in Dharamshsla City, Himachal Pradesh. It is also the headquarters of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association, which governs all the cricket affairs in the state. In the initial years, the stadium was only limited to hosting domestic matches but gradually moved to international matches as well. The first test in this stadium was held on March 25–29, 2017. In November 2015, the HPCA stadium was selected as one of the six new test match venues in India. It was also one of the six venues for the ICC World Cup in 2016, and now it has also been allocated as the venue for five matches of the upcoming ICC World Cup in 2023.
