Notably, Virat has a phenomenal record against the defending champions. He has scored 1006 runs in 31 innings with nine half-centuries. He is the second-highest scorer against CSK after Shikhar Dhawan (1057). Virat just needs 52 runs to become the leading scorer against the five-time champions. Adding to that, he has another big record to break in this clash.
Virat Kohli has scored the most runs in IPL history. He is at the top with 7924 runs in 250 matches, including 8 centuries and 55 half-centuries. If Virat can score 76 runs, he will become the first player to touch the 8000-run landmark in the IPL. Notably, apart from Virat, no other batter has even scored 7,000 runs. Shikhar Dhawan is second on the list with 6769. So it is a great chance for Virat to achieve these records and also take RCB to the playoffs.
