Noor Ahmed is a left-arm spin bowler from Afghanistan who plays for Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was a part of the Afghanistan team in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and made his international debut for Afghanistan in a T20I match against ZImbabwe at Harare on 14th June 2022.
At 15 years of age Noor Ahmed was picked by Melbourne Renegades for the 2020-21 Big Bash League. He has also been a part of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as Net bowler for IPL 2021. Noor Ahmed got his first IPL contract in 2022 as the newly joined Gujarat Titans acquired his services for ₹30 Lakhs in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. However, the Afghan spinner had to wait one more year to make his IPL debut as GT retained ahead of IPL 2023. Ahmed finally got to play his first IPL game against Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium on 16th April, 2023. He played 13 matches in that season taking 16 scalps.
