1. Dwayne Bravo – 154 wickets
Trinidadian former cricketer Dwayne Bravo is the top position or most wicket-taker for CSK in IPL. Bravo has scalped 154 wickets in the 130 IPL matches he played for the Chennai Super Kings. Bravo is also 2nd most wicket-taker in the IPL history after Yuzvendra Chahal. Before announcing his retirement from IPL, Dwayne Bravo scalped a total of 183 wickets in his overall IPL career.
2. Ravindra Jadeja – 142 wickets
The second position is held by Ravindra Jadeja for the CSK most wicket-taker in IPL history. Ravindra Jadeja has played 186 IPL matches for the Chennai team and took 142 wickets. Jadeja’s best bowling figure is 5/16 for the CSK in IPL 2012 at Vishakhpattanam.
3. Ravichandran Ashwin – 120 wickets
Indian spinner R. Ashwin is the third CSK most wickets bowler in the IPL history. In 121 matches for Chennai Super Kings, Ravichandran Ashwin scalped 120 wickets with a bowling average of 23.7. R. Ashwin joined CSK for the IPL 2009 season and played for 8 consecutive IPL seasons till 2015.
4. Albie Morkel – 91 wickets
South African former all-rounder Albie Morkel is the 4th bowler who has the record for most wickets for CSK in the IPL history. Albie Morkel took 91 wickets in the 92 IPL games with an economy rate of 7.97. Morkel joined CSK in the IPL’s inaugural season in 2008.
5. Deepak Chahar – 76 wickets
Deepak Chahar is the fifth Chennai Super Kings most wicket-taker in the IPL history. Deepak Chahar has scalped a total of 76 wickets in 76 games with a bowling average of 27.71 and an economy rate of 7.91. Chahr’s best bowling figure is 4/13 for the CSK against Punjab Kings in the IPL 2021 season.
