Deepak Hooda is an Indian cricketer and is currently part of the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Hooda is known for his power-hitting, and apart from that, he can also come as a handy part-time bowler. He also has a decent record while playing for the Indian team in the limited-overs format.

Deepak Hooda made his IPL debut in 2015 for Rajasthan Royals after the franchise bought him for INR 3.6 crore. He was then sold to Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 4.2 crore. After four years with SRH, Hooda was sold to Punjab Kings (formerly known as Kings XI Punjab) after they acquired his services for INR 50 Lakhs. He was released by PBKS ahead of IPL 2022 and was bought by the brand new franchise Lucknow Super Giants at a price of INR 5.75 crore
